Jen Garlando
Yoga Teacher- CYT 200
I first found yoga looking for a way to connect with myself through movement, and it quickly became a passion. My 200-hour certification at Harvest Yoga truly solidified my path. I really enjoy teaching Vinyasa, especially for beginners, as well as Slow Gentle Flow and Restorative classes.
With my background in dance, I bring a unique perspective, focusing on the beauty of flowing movement and the importance of being present in your body. I’ve shared yoga with diverse students, from the studio setting to outdoor classes. I’m also committed to continual learning, which is why I’ve gained certifications in Restorative Yoga, Teaching Meditation, and Reiki.
My teaching philosophy centers on creating a welcoming and supportive space for self-connection through breath and movement. My classes often blend somatic and trauma-informed practices, offering a gentle and inclusive approach that empowers you to explore your physical and mental well-being. Whether it’s a dynamic Vinyasa or a calming Restorative session, my goal is to hold space for acceptance and self-discovery.
When I’m not on the mat, you’ll find me enjoying coffee, spending time with my dogs and family, catching a dance performance, or finding inspiration at art museums. I invite you to join me in class to deepen your connection with yourself.
